It’s easy to get nervous about choices in any game. However, the frequency of dialogue choices and other options in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes can make for a more nerve-wracking experience than normal. Are you sure you’re not leading everything to a bad end?
The good news is that your dialogue options don’t really affect the ending you get. Once you choose a route when talking with Jeritza, there is only one path. However, the correct dialogue options sometimes allow you to increase a character’s affection for Shez, increasing your support levels much faster. Not all dialogue options are tied to a potential affection boost, shape Shez’s personality into whatever you want her to be.
In any case, you can always increase the affection in several ways, such as:
- Join them in battle
- Give presents
- Do activities together

Unlike Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you don’t need to be at a certain support level with a character to recruit them into your house. Characters in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes are recruited through side missions each chapter, so be sure to complete them before moving on to the main battle.
However, there may be times when your choice will matter: and that involves on-the-fly choices you make during missions.

Now is the time to let your moral compass guide your combat decisions. Secret characters can also be recruited by not killing them no matter what the objective tells you, so be sure to be on the lookout for those glaring red flags. This is true even if it will make the battles more difficult for you!
